For cat addicts everywhere

Below are details of several different ways in which you might like to help us.  For more information on any of the topics, please CONTACT US us via the link at the top of this page.

Volunteer to lend a hand at fundraising events.

This does not mean that you have to commit to helping on every occasion, but if you would be prepared to let us have your details, we could then contact you and ask if you would be available for forthcoming events.

The more volunteers we have, the less they have to do, as we can draw up rotas.

Organise an event of your own.

Invite a few friends around to a coffee morning and charge a small fee for a cup of coffee and a biscuit or cake.  Provide a tombola or raffle or a simple competition.

Or maybe a cheese and wine event is more to your taste!  Again, provide a tombola or raffle or a simple competition.

Instead of throwing away unwanted items, get together with friends, pool your resources and do a car boot sale.  It can be fun!

Volunteer to help with cats in care.

Maybe you prefer a more hands on approach.  If so, you could help with feeding, cleaning and most important of all, socialising the cats in care.  The sooner they get to trust humans, the sooner they can go off to new loving home.  This side of things can be very rewarding.

We also need help with things like painting the pens and small repairs.  If you feel you have any DIY skills, get in touch and we'll see if we can put them to good use!

Consider fostering a cat or kitten.

Again, this can be a very rewarding occupation.  There are always more cats waiting to come into care, than places to house them.  If you feel that you could look after a cat or kitten, either long-term or short-term, it would enable us to help more of them, more quickly.  Food, litter and equipment would be provided and we are not asking you to make a lifetime commitment; we just need people we can call on in an emergency.

If you are interested and would like to find out more, please contact us on this website.

Adopt a cat or kitten.
